Consigliamo San Pietru Farmhouse caldamente. Noi ci siamo trovati molto bene! Grazie Tonio!
Explore Gozo !
We stayed in the villa San Pietru Farmhouse in the last week of July 2015. Three couples, we and our children with their spouses. The villa is great, very spacious, exactly like on the photos. The swimming pool is really pleasant, especially when we came back at home after a very hot day and a lot of walking to discover Gozo! The air conditioning in each bedroom was great (even if we had to put some coins in the appropriate box). Tonio was a great host. He gave us explanations to explore Gozo (to rent a boat, to buy vegetables to the market, ...). In brief, we spent excellent week and we recommend this villa.
Great Vacation !
An absolute great vacation home. We really had a good time. The house had everything we needed. Tonio gave us a great welcome package and plenty of brochures to help us with our vacation. He was also a big help with transportation to and from the airport. Would extremely recommend the use of this property. Carmel and Jimmy
A simply stunning property that I would have no hesitation in booking again. Very helpful host, amazing pool with fantastic view in a lovely quiet village with restaurants in walking distance. Thank you Tonio for also stocking the fridge with bread, milk, eggs and cheese!
The welcome was efficient, swift and friendly, the site descriptions are very accurate with the neighbourhood wonderful. The farmhouse is located in a quiet street with friendly neighbours, the rear swimming pool whilst modest looks out over a wonderful green valley which faces the rising sun and moon. The outdoor offers welcome shade in the hot early afternoons with the 1st floor terrace offering a relaxing alternative outdoor space. With a small rear kitchen and a larger front kitchen there is no shortage of space with both internal and external (inc. barbecue) dining areas. The bedrooms are all well appointed, with the 2 at first floor having en-suites and the ground one being next to the communal bathroom. There is also a games, television and library room which contains some very interesting novels and factual books on design, art and on Russian and Finish histories. There are restaurants in Gharb and a very fine one in St Lewrenz the neighbouring village. Dwejra Bay is closely but is best reached via a car or the excellent bus service. The fine golden sands of Ramla Bay are also not too far, the most enjoyable beach. We fed a stray cat during our stay so am pleased to read the subsequent visitors used what was left and I presume enjoyed the blue cans we left.
Gorgeous view of countryside
Clarissa met us in Garb square and led us to the lovely farmhouse. It was better than we imagined. Gorgeous view of the countryside, fab pool, large bedrooms and modern bathrooms. The fridge was stocked with milk, juice, eggs, fruit which was much appreciated. Lovely local neighbours who even gave us a tin of cat food for my 3 yr old to give the local kitty in the village. Tonio kindly let us have a late check out too. Highly recommend staying at this gorgeous farmhouse. ...night time is particular peaceful by pool and country air and stars.
It's a stunning house of character with all the necessary amentities, comfortable beds for restful nights and spacious rooms - exactly like on the photos. All rooms are equipped with air fans and airconditioning system (coin operated) for the hot summer months. The farmhouse is located on the outskirts of Gharb village in a friendly and quiet neighborhood, where you can barely hear anyone. The pool and barbeque area are very nice with great open country views. The staff have prepared a welcome food pack with water, milk, bread, cheese, fruits and wine! I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and to book it again.
Tonio met us in Gharb and directed us to the farmhouse. He was very helpful and they provided us with plenty of towels and a lovely welcome pack so we had water, juice a lovely local bottle of wine and breakfast for the morning. The farmhouse is AMAZING, lovely open plan modern living area with all the mod cons you need. The two bedrooms upstairs have an en suite and have lovely furniture and loads of wardrobe space. There is also a shower downstairs next to the third room. The pool is a good size but the garden is in full shade by 2-3pm. However there are plenty of gorgeous beaches and hidden coves to visit in Gozo. Gharb is a small town which has a couple of restaurants about 20 mins walking from the farmhouse and there is also a local convenience store. The area we stayed is generally quiet, however it's a local town and people set out to work early, so bring some ear plugs if you want to keep the windows open. I would advise to hire a car to get around Gozo as it seems the best way to get around and see everything, plus there is a Lidl in Victoria. If you want to get away for a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle this is the place for you, but do go by car so you can get out and about.
